Egyptian Queen Collar - Wed, Jan 12 - Originally designed for 1 Stop! Learn ladder stitch, netting and fringing techniques. Cabochon optional.









Copper Baubles & Beads Necklace & Earrings - Wed, Jan 12 - Learn to manipulate heavy wire into different shapes and anneal. Also learn to use a metal punch to make your own jump rings, bail, clasp and 2 to 1 connector.





Beginning Bead Weaving - Thur, Jan 13 - 1 Stop Bead Shop's Signature Class! The best place to start if you've never done any Bead Weaving. Learn to use a needle & thread to "sew" beads. Easier than it looks - hundreds of people have learned it & you can too!




Bezel Mania & Resin - Sat, Jan 15 & Wed, Jan 19 - 2 part class - Another mixed media. Pt 1 - Learn basic soldering, shaping, texture, ring sizing. Pt 2 - Learn to work with resin to capture your favorite image in a ring. This designer class really teaches you how to make designer jewelry using different mediums. If you desire to move from regular jewelry making into designing, learning to combine mediums is essential.

Midnight Lanterns - Thu, Feb 17 - Using plain and textured metal, stack domes in layer after layer adding beads for texture and color. When the stacking is done, cage it all up with wire. Embellish. These are AWESOME in person - you gotta' see the sample!




Pod Rings - Thu, Feb 17 Embellish a special bead with a thai silver drop and cage with basketweave for a dramatic ring!









Fierce Connections - Fri, Feb 18 - Using plain and textured metal, cut out a variety of forms. Explore using disc cutter and dapping block. Add layer after layer of contrasting metals and using various connections, combine the elements. Add beads for texture and color.





Crown Jewel Focal - Fri, Feb 18 - Showcase a focal bead by wrapping it in textured metal strips. Secure with large holed spacers. Embellish with caps, spacers and complimentary beads and add ball chain.









Fruit of the Vine - Sat, Feb 19 -Using basic low tech Repousse and chasing techniques, move metal to create 3-D leaves. Add a few pods made using basketweave and stuffed with your favorite gems and pearls. This is one of the most beautiful bead /wire pieces I've seen - the picture can't even begin to capture the depth and color!

These artists teach at Bead & Button, and in stores and venues all over the country and the world. They are highly experienced and qualified instructors who are best suited to helping you take the next step in your beading journey.

Macha Necklace - Thu, Jan 20 - Participants will learn to make spiral pattern components with circular peyote and and join the components to make three-dimensional triskelians – a motif from the Celts. Participants should be familiar with circular peyote and right angle weave.







Bacchus Bracelet & Earrings- Fri, Jan 21 -Learn to make grape leaves with a combination of RAW and Peyote stich and grape clusters with a variation of Nepal Chain. Pre-req Peyote and Right Angle Weave.









Iside Necklace - Sat, Jan 22 - Components are made with peyote stitch and then combined with RAW to creat this pendant. Pre-req Peyote.

Sparkling Filigree Leaf Necklace - Mon, Jan 3 - Use polymer clay and a filigree pendant to creat this fun, motion-packed necklace. You'll be able to develop your own color and shape variations.



Beginning Bead Stringing - Multi-Strand w/ Chain - Tue, Jan 4 - Learn all the basics of bead stringing using the multiple strand technique, and how to attach chain.




Bling's the Thing Bracelet & Earrings - Wed, Jan 5 - Make simple square beaded beads using 3D RAW and string them into a bracelet and/or earrings.





2 RAW Rings - Wed, Jan 5 - A delicate round top and a show stopping square cocktail ring with crystals.


Intro to Wire Components - Thur, Jan 6 - This is the pre-requisite class for all Level 3 wire classes and ALL metals classes. Learn about wire gauges, tools, and bsic wire handling techniques. Make several parts including: basic ear wires, head pins, simple designs and clasps.




DIY (Do It Yourself) Jewelry Jumpstart - Fri, Jan 7 -This sampler class introduces the basics of 3 techniques and makes a complete matching set of jewelry: 1) Bead Stringing Necklace 2) Wire linked Bracelet 3) Wire Wrapped Earrings. For more in-depth fin ishing techniques & designing try Begin Bead Stringing. For wire wrappig perfection try Begin Wire Wrap.

Maggie Meister IS COMING to 1 Stop Bead Shop

Yea! Maggie Meister is officially coming!
Thanks to all the people who signed up before the airline deadline, we were able to get enough confirmed class reservations to cover her fees!
Good News! If you haven't signed up yet, there are spaces remaining in all 3 classes.
Macha Necklace - Thur, Jan 20 - to make spiral pattern components with circular peyote and and join the components to make three-dimensional triskelians – a motif from the Celts. Intermediate to Advanced Participants should be familiar with circular peyote and right angle weave.


Bacchus Bracelet & Earrings - Fri, Jan 21 - Participants will learn to make grape leaves with a combination of Right Angle Weave and peyote stitch and grape clusters with a variation of Nepal Chain to make a pair of earrings or bracelet. Instructions include directions for both medium and large leaves. Intermediate – Participants should be proficient in peyote and familiar with Right Angle Weave basics.


Iside Necklace -- Sat, Jan 22 - Components are made with peyote stitch and then combined with right angle weave to create this pendant. Although the pendant is shown on a Viking Knit chain, Viking knit will not be taught in this workshop but instructions for Russian Spiral will be included in the handout. Macha Necklace - Thurs, Jan 20 - The original piece was inspired by the Celtic torcs worn in ancient Ireland and was named for the woman who was the only High Queen among the High Kings of Ireland. Participants will learn how to make spiral pattern components with circular peyote and join the components to make three-dimensional triskelians - a motif of the Celts. Intermediate to Advanced. Participants should be familiar with circular peyote and right angle weave.

Bacchus Bracelet & Earrings - Fri, Jan 21 - The grape motif is found throughout antiquity in jewelry, mosaics, and frescoes. Participants will learn to make grape leaves with a combination of Right Angle Weave and peyote stitch and grape clusters with a variation of Nepal Chain to make a pair of earrings or bracelet. Instructions include directions for both medium and large leaves. Intermediate - participants should be proficient with peyote and familiar with Right Angle Weave.

Iside Necklace - Sat, Jan 22 - Iside (Isis in Italian) is a pendant inspired by the headdress that is found on many of the statues of Isis found in Pompeii and Southern Italy. Components are made with peyote stitch and then combined with right angle weave to create this pendant. Although the pendant is shown on a Viking Knit chain, Viking Knit will not be taught in this workshop but instructions for Russian Spiral will be included in the handout. Participants should be proficient in peyote.

Maggie is one my favorite designers. She is passionate about antiquities and all of her designs recreate these antiquities by intricately combining stitches.
No artist challenges you quite so much to think outside of traditional pattern designs and truly combine stitches with the ancient piece as the standard. I learned more about combining all the stitches I have learned from Maggie's classes, than from any other artist!
The pieces you create in Maggie's class have already stood the test of time and will be a treasured heirloom in your collection!
