NEW! Tierra Cast has introduced 2 new finishes! Black and Brass Oxide! Black is very cool for retro OR modern designs and the Brass Oxide goes perfectly with the Vintaj filigree components! Available in several beads, links, clasps and findings!

NEW! Miyuki has developed a new seed bead called a Tila. This is a very versatile bead. It is a 5mm square wafer with 2 (yes, 2!) holes! Available in 7 colors with more on the way!

HALLOWEEN beads are now available! We just received new GLOW IN THE DARK ghosts from our own Beth Curran. Also, new ceramic and glass beads with pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, bats and more. Supplies Needed
Large Sequin Drops
Small Sequin Drops
Gunmetal Metal Seed Beads
Copper Jump Rings
Copper Earwires

• From back to front, stack large sequin, small sequin and metal seed bead on a jump ring. Make six.
  
• Make a chain of 5 jump rings. Stagger the charms you’ve made onto the chain.
  
• Attach an earwire.

About Sherry Serafini Purse Class

A note about the Sherry Serafini Purse class.

I have received a few questions asking why the spaces in Sherry's purse class this year were so limited.

This year's purse class was actually an overflow class from last year's waiting list. After calling through the entire list, we opened the few remaining spaces to everyone else.

If you would like to be put on a waiting list for potential cancellations or for Sherry's visit next year, call or email and you will get first priority seating for next year's class.

Sherry will NOT be teaching the purse next year. It will be a new project.

Pick Your Peyote - Mon, Sep 13 - Students will pick their project when they come to class and will have time to shop for beads - over a dozen designs to choose from. If you have never done peyote stitch before, you'll learn basic peyote and how to read a flat peyote graph. Students who already know Even Count Peyote Stitch will learn how to read a graph using Fast Peyote.

Beginning Bead Weaving - Mon, Sep 13 - 1 Stop Bead Shop’s Signature Class! The best place to start if you’ve never done any Bead Weaving. Learn to use a needle and thread to "sew" beads. Easier than it looks - hundreds of people have learned and you can too!

Sherry Serafini is returning to teach at 1 Stop Bead Shop

 

Sherry Serafini is coming back to 1 Stop Bead Shop to teach her famous purse class. Taught at Bead & Button Show in June (for more than four times our price), Sherry is perhaps the most sought after instructor in the bead world.

She will teach you how she combines Native American and Victorian beadweaving techniques with contemporary materials to produce an heirloom piece that very few will ever have the privilege of owning. Explore color, design, and embellishment, and learn to "paint with beads" while spontaneously letting the beads dictate the design.

NEW Metal Seed Beads at 1 Stop Bead Shop

We now carry metal seed beads in our store and on our website. These beads are solid metal. They all start out with a brass base, and then are heavily plated in the various finishes. Unlike the galvanized beads, they do not have a glass base. They are very uniform in size. They are a much more rounded bead compared to the Japanese glass beads.
We have heard really good reports regarding the finish on these beads. However, almost all metals will tarnish.

You can purchase them on our website or in our store.
